Janet Iraha has spent thirteen years working in the public sector, with her last years in the University of Hawaii Community College system before she took a turn to pursue patisserie and culinary interests.
She graduated with a degree in Culinary Arts and Patisserie from Kapiolani Community College but not before she was selected as one of the candidates for Outstanding Patisserie Student for 2002-03. After some time spent working in the food industry, she returned to the public sector and is now part of the MHT SIG ohana.
Janet continues to dabble in baking and concoct desserts using the MHT SIG staff as guinea pigs.
